A Bookshelf
Client: Brendan Kelley
Location: 21st & Pine
The issue to solve was how to hide the television in the family room. What we ended up doing was building bookshelves on either side of the mantle. On the left side, we built insert shelves using invisible Soss hinges and magnets. When the insert opens, it will fold back on itself, and a flatscreen television mounted on piano hinges will swing out. The insert shelves will be lined with the spines of books cut down on the chopsaw (no Hemingway or Stegner).
Client Testimonial
"Brendan Jones provided more than just skilled carpentry. He was able to apply creativity and vision to help us see our project from a completely different perspective. He was also able to navigate the architectural salvage process to find parts for our project that were stunning, appropriate and affordable. Brendan and Greensaw Design & Build have altered the outcome of this residential renovation project in a fantastic way."
