Reclaimed Wood Table

Redwood from Philadelphia's Schmidt's Brewery was used to build these two pieces. Ed, a lawyer downtown, wanted a desk for his basement, and he and his wife asked us to build a picnic table for their new patio (which we did as well).
With Ed's help we came up with a design for each of the tables. A moment of panic overtook us when we thought we had waterproofed the wrong table – the designs are deceptive. But the tables came out beautifully. It's really like making dessert with butter, flour and sugar. You can't go too wrong with this stuff. |
