Planters from Reclaimed Wood

It never ceases to stun us the amount of material tossed out by other contractors, waiting streetside for a ride to the landfill.

All the wood for these planters came off the sidewalk. We designed the planters to show off the grain of the yellow pine, coating the wood with a soy-based non-toxic finish. Installed next to Honey's, the prime dining spot in Northern Liberties, nextdoor to our shop, the planters liven up a lot once overgrown and unused.

Grace Wicks of Graceful Gardens came up with the vision for this job, and did all the plantings.
