Niko was born in Albania, in the capital city of Tirana. Nine years later, in the year of 1996, he moved with his family to Philadelphia. He received the Promising Artist Award from the University of the Arts, and was awarded a scholarship to attend. Niko describes himself as a "passionate guy," and there is truth to this. A consummate perfectionist, quiet worker, who will not watch lobsters grilled live over hot coals, Niko can be depended on to find clever strategies to resolve finicky carpentry issues. He is committed to sustainable building strategies, and brings a unique sculptor's viewpoint to our projects. When not engaged in the struggle, Niko enjoys sports, architecture, spending time with his family and girlfriend, and experimenting with the wonders this world has to offer.
