If, when the beer is flowing, and the moon
Is a flame-white disk in the glow
     Of Tiki Torches
You need someone to shoot a can
Of agitated foam with a Daisy BB gun
Look no farther than Samir.
He is your man.

Thus runs our ode to Samir. Born 7 February 1984 across the bridge from our state capital, Samir graduated Drexel University in 2010 with a degree in architecture. He has worked with BluPath, focusing on sustainable low-income housing, historic preservation, and strip malls ("we can probably leave that one out," he notes in the abstract for his bio). He has timber-framed in the Costa Rican rainforest, and done carpentry for Habitat for Humanity. He is interested in social/ethical components of design and architecture, and gets frustrated when a professor spends an entire critique focused on how many parking spaces are in his design. The only autographs he has, and keeps in a lockbox in an undisclosed location, are those of Bryan Bell (founder of Design Corps.) and Cameron Sinclair (founder of Architecture for Humanity). He likes rock climbing, the outdoors, and shooting cans of Great Stuff with bb guns while dressed as a police man.
